What conditions allow us to experience life more fully?
I believe creativity is one of many ways, but it's the one I've been using most of my life.
Creativity reflects a spirit of exploration and curiosity that includes our whole being: our intellect, our intuition, feelings, perception, and openness. This happens when, in the process of "making," we merge our hands, head and heart.
Alchemy is about transformation. In medieval alchemy, it was the symbolic transformation of lead into gold. In Jung's interpretation, it was the transformation of consciousness. In spiritual traditions, it's often the transformation of the seeker.
But with Creative Alchemy, the transformation isn't primarily of the person but of their experience of life.
Creative Alchemy is a shared exploration in which making becomes an invitation to experience our lives with greater aliveness. And once you get the hang of it, you can find it almost anywhere!

What actually happens in Creative Alchemy?
Twice a month I'll host an online gathering where I'll set the conditions for this exploration.
Depending on the gathering, I'll either suggest materials or leave it to you to use the materials you're eager to get your hands on.
I'll offer simple suggestions designed to broaden your attention to include not only what you're making but also to the experience of creating: the spaciousness, the sense of possibility and the openness that occur when the focus is no longer exclusively on a finished product or making something pretty.
You do not need any artistic skill or previous creative experience.
