Official bios can give you a list of accomplishments, skills or talents. But we all know that kind of a bio barely scratches the surface of who someone is.
Here's a version that might go a bit deeper: mystic, creative, mischief maker, all in the service of Love. Those descriptions all acknowledge the profound sense of possibility that result from exploring the source of our infinite creative potential and shared being.
I'd venture a guess that we're all looking for four basic conditions: happiness, fulfillment, connection and love. Doesn't matter where we spend our time or what we create. There are, of course, extrinsic rewards that result from many of our efforts. But beneath that, the intrinsic rewards are really what, at the end of the day, make it worthwhile or worthless.
As a transformative coach and creative encourager, I share what it means to participate in the ever-present, always unfolding expression of Life as it moves through us in all the roles we play: in business, in relationships, in our personal lives and all our creative endeavors, whatever they may be.
As an artist, I made a discovery some time ago that many of the challenges an artist faces are exactly the same as the people who think of themselves as "non-artists." For example,
~ Insecurity (Is it good enough?)
~ Comparison (they're much better than I am)
~ Expectations (I've got to get this right)
~ Judgment (This is awful - and so am I)
As a life-long student of the wisdom traditions, I share what I've learned both through example and direct experience to point to the knowledge that much of what gets in our way is self-induced. We suffer from chronic overthinking and unnecessary suffering.
When we lose our way it’s because we’ve lost touch with our true nature and what we hold most dear. Finding our way back home brings with it a deep sense of aliveness, inner freedom and purpose.
Anything we've had a hand in creating, no matter what it is, we can also un-create and make fresh. We can learn how to tap into our innate resources, realize the innate flexibility, resilience and creativity that's part of our nature. This results in being able to naturally express our own authenticity and align with our deepest values in whatever work we put our hands to.
A little about my formal training: I have over 30 years of exploration and plenty of certifications in the fields of psychology, personal development, energy medicine and the wisdom traditions. I hold Certification as an Advanced Transformative Coach through Michael Neill's Supercoach Academy and have studied non dual teachings, the Sedona Method and Three Principles. I write, speak and facilitate programs that point to our true nature and how that knowledge transforms the way we live, love, create, and share our gifts with the world. I hold a Masters Degree in Psychotherapy and an Bachelor's degree in Fine Art.
My clients come from all walks of life, including corporate executives, artists, health professionals and those who have left the world of work. Most importantly, people who are interested in living more fully, having a real sense of aliveness and inner freedom find our conversations invaluable.
